DTV Innovations’ MetaWright is a centralized signaling and service announcement generator providing networks, station group owners and cable head ends with the ability to generate and manage both ATSC 1.0 PSIP and ATSC 3.0 A/331 & A/332 metadata from a centralized location and deliver it to affiliate stations. It meets all FCC requirements, and supports ATSC Recommended Practices.
MetaWright is a true Central Cast ATSC 1.0/3.0 system with multiple outputs enabling either a single station or multiple stations to have different service streams directed through multiple IP outputs. It supports ROUTE and SLT/SLS low layer signaling IP output for direct connection to Schedulers, Broadcast Gateways, and equipped Modulators. It also can supply updated OMA BCAST NRT file output for flexibility within any ATSC 3.0 ecosystem. As with the PSIP Pro/PSIP Central products, all ATSC 1.0 interfaces to MPEG-2 encoders and multiplexers are supported for simultaneous legacy service.
DTVi’s MetaWright has an easy-to-use software GUI that allows generation, editing, navigation and searching of program schedules. It includes advanced EPG management functionality such as recurring events, default events, search event gaps, search event overlap and event over-run control. MetaWright is designed as a robust system while minimizing user time in setup and administration.
